VaultSort
Local photo vault. Labels, dupes, and cleanup on your PC.
VaultSort is a portable Windows tool. It scans a folder on your disk, labels photos by type and name, and finds extra copies. On-device vision. Nothing uploaded.
Who it is for
People sorting large personal libraries on a Windows PC they control. No leaks or uploads. Learning modules improve with your help — the more scans you run, the better it gets.
What it is not
Not a cloud album. Not a phone app. Not a site that stores your pictures. Not for sale.
On the PC
- Scan a local folder, with or without subfolders.
- Scan on disk for thousands of files so the browser does not hold them.
- Types: Adult, People, Family, Pets, Vehicles, Landscape, Documents, Food, Video, Other.
- Custom types and names. A named folder can stamp that name on the photos inside.
- Exact and near duplicates. Keep the strongest, usually oldest original.
- Sort into type and name folders. Same filename keeps both as Name (2).jpg.
- Face search. Quarantine moves files. Delete sends them to the Recycle Bin.
- Labels stay in a local database. Models run on the PC.
